Meal Prep 101

Meal Prep Ideas:

  1. Overnight Oats

  2. Yogurt w fruit and nuts 

  3. Fiber rich cereal with yogurt or milk

  4. Stir-fry

  5. Slow cooked chili

  6. Open-face tuna sandwich 

  7. Tuna and crackers- cheese and apple- muesli bar

  8. Fresh fruit 

Fermented food is always something good to include in your routine. It will help you maintain a healthy gut. A healthy gut leads to a happy heart- no one wants to be feeling off kilter and emotional during this time. Plus, kimchi, sauerkraut and kombucha are always a delicious addition. 

Fish- including a good source of omega-3 fatty acids will help produce serotonin and dopamine in your system. 

Avoid 

  • High sugar content- they will not make you feel good

  • Excess caffeine- it can lead to higher anxiety and stress 

  • Alcohol- it is a depressant that can impact sleep quality, stress and anxiety
